In the last couple of years I have found myself being more and more drawn to… ” the natural,” for a lack of words to describe it. I am intrigued by what is out there in its raw and natural form and its effect on the human body. It seems that we have almost gotten out of control with elixirs and medications and other “unnatural” cure-alls. Don’t get me wrong I do believe that there is a time and place for medicine. I am not here to make enemies, but good gosh it seems that with every new break through a new disease is also born. Leading us to then search for yet another cure.
God created our bodies to heal. Have you ever thought about how amazing and supernatural the human body really is? There are trillions of little living things working together to make… ME. To make me breathe, think, talk, move… and heal. If I get a cut, I make new skin! How wicked is that!? That is straight out of a sci-fi movie! I can’t even fathom how intricate our bodies are and how everything works together. Anyhow, you are probably thinking “get to the point, girl.” Well, there isn’t one. I have created this blog to simply slather it with nonsense that fascinates me. I have been learning a lot about organic/natural foods and how the body uses them. Not only when you eat them but also used topically!! Yes! Did you know that an avocado is not only delicious in your sandwich or mashed up with some salsa but it is just as yummy for your skin! Avocados are rich in vitamins A, D and E, which help maintain healthy skin. Next time you make yourself a fancy pants sandwich, slice up half an avocado for for your sandwich and rub the other half on your face for an uber moisturizing mask! It will help to relieve redness and itchiness with dry skin.
Whew! I was all over the board there. I will try to keep my posts more organized. I’m just so excited to share all this useless information I’ve been accumulating.
